Apex Credit Union Tradition
When Apex Credit Union was first chartered in 1949, our goal was ambitious but simple. We wanted to provide the best possible loans, accounts and financial services for the employees of the Doehler-Jarvis Company in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
The inspiration originated with nine employees who realized the need for affordable financial services that local banks and other financial institutions would not or could not provide.
The founding principles and driving force of our credit union would be the longstanding credit union tradition of “people helping people” and “service first.” We continue to provide this tradition today for our 41 employee member companies and organizations, and the communities we serve within our field of membership.
Hometown Service, Worldwide Access
Although we may be smaller compared to some financial institutions, our members tell us that our personal service and account access technologies make us better. It’s simply faster and easier for our members to apply for a loan and manage their accounts from anywhere, at anytime. Experience the difference for yourself.
Federally Insured, Financially Strong
Our credit union is regulated by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the federal government. Your deposit accounts are federally insured for up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF). There are also steps you can take to insure higher balances.
