Of course, in order to remain operative and provide first-rate service to customers, any banking organization has to earn more than it expends – but unlike regular banks, a credit union does not pay excess earnings to stockholders. Instead, profits are passed to our members in the form of low or no-fee services, lower interest rates for loans, and higher yields on savings and investment accounts. Our members reap the rewards of our success, because each holder of an Apex Share Account is in effect a part owner of our banking enterprise.
